A new way to use your property. KLM Development Romania plans and develops large-scale solar power plants in southern Romania.
If you own at least 5 hectares of contiguous land—whether agricultural or industrial—we would be happy to assess whether it is suitable for a solar power project.
You bear no risk and no costs. We handle all stages of planning and permitting. If the project is successful, you will receive an attractive offer for lease, sale, or rental.

We are looking for suitable properties based on clearly defined criteria:
Minimum size:
▪ 5 hectares (a contiguous area)
Eligible regions:
▪ Ilfov, Prahova, Argeș, Giurgiu, Dâmbovița, Călărași, Teleorman
Suitable surfaces:
▪ Agricultural land with low soil quality.
▪ Uncultivated or unused land.
▪ Flat or gently sloping terrain.
▪ Good accessibility via public roads.
▪ A minimum distance of 200 meters from residential areas.
▪ No protected areas or flood-prone areas.

Free initial assessment
Please send us the property records or a site plan. We will check, free of charge, whether the property is generally suitable for photovoltaic use (grid connection, spatial planning, restrictions, etc.).

Letter of Intent for In-Depth Review
If your property has potential, we will sign a letter of intent (LOI) with you. This allows us to conduct a thorough analysis of the project—at our own risk and with no obligation on your part.

Detailed location and legal review
We analyze: Property structure and cadastral data, the legal framework for land use planning (PUZ/PUD), options for connecting to the power grid, infrastructure, exclusion criteria, eligibility for authorization, and special features of land rights (lease, easements, etc.)

Customized Contract Offer
If the project is eligible for approval, you will receive an offer: lease (ongoing income from the start of construction), land lease (long-term guarantee), or sale (lump-sum payment). The terms depend on the location, suitability, and eligibility for approval.
