Bucharest

Ilfov

As a direct neighbor of the capital Bucharest, Ilfov offers a strong grid connection and high demand for electricity - favorable conditions for the development of powerful ground-mounted photovoltaic systems.

Giurgiu

Giurgiu has excellent solar radiation and large areas of available, underutilized agricultural or fallow land - ideal for the construction of large-scale PV systems in the megawatt range.

Teleorman

With its flat topography and high irradiation values, Teleorman is one of the most attractive regions for ground-mounted photovoltaics in southern Romania. The conditions enable efficient project implementation.

Călărași

The combination of agricultural structures and high solar intensity makes Călărași particularly interesting for classic ground-mounted PV projects on a large scale.

Ialomița

In Ialomița, extensive, open landscapes offer numerous potential areas for ground-mounted photovoltaics. The rural character and grid connection favor the development of large-scale PV systems.

Dâmbovița

While the northern part is more hilly, the southern areas of Dâmbovița offer suitable areas for PV projects. Locations close to substations are particularly interesting for ground-mounted systems.

Prahova

Prahova is an economically strong district in which open spaces to the south are well suited for large-scale PV systems. The good grid infrastructure combined with high levels of solar radiation support reliable feed-in.

Argeș

Despite the partly mountainous landscape in the north, the southern part of Argeș offers good conditions for ground-mounted photovoltaics, especially on unused or extensively used agricultural land.

Buzău

Buzău offers a favorable combination of flat landscapes and excellent sunlight exposure. Particularly in the southern parts of the county, there are extensive agricultural and fallow areas available that are ideal for large-scale open-space photovoltaic systems.

Brăila

Thanks to its largely flat, open plains and high annual sunshine levels, the district of Brăila is one of the most attractive locations in eastern Romania. Its easy accessibility and proximity to important network infrastructure offer ideal conditions for the development of high-performance ground-mounted PV projects.

Minimum size of land: 3 hectares
Permitted: farmland, industrial land, fallow building land. No forest, no protected areas.
